Denim heels are having a resurgence, and we fully support it.

Lady Gaga was spotted in London earlier today, and along with her denim cap, the pop star was also rocking some very cute denim heels. We sensed a resurgence when Beyonce posted an #OOTD post on her Instagram in denim pumps, but the “Bad Romance” singer has solidified the trend.

While Lady Gaga paired her denim heels with a patterned jumpsuit, Beyonce went the all-denim route, in a jean romper.

Everyone had a pair of denim heels in the ’90s, myself included, and just like the decade made a comeback on the runway recently, so has the footwear. From platform sandals to furry slippers, denim heels are just the latest in the complete ’90s footwear resurgence.

However, unlike Beyonce and Gaga you won’t have to splurge (unless you want to) when it comes to your denim footwear. Topshop also has a great pair of denim clogs while Jeffrey Campbell has the perfect denim platform sandal, a ’90s double whammy, for summer.
