If you follow Zac Posen on Instagram, then you’re aware of the designer’s second passion that falls right behind his signature love for fashion – food! And now the gown creator is embarking on a new challenge that will tie in both of his favorite works.
Teaming up with premium wine brand, Ecco Domani, the Project Runway judge will be designing a limited edition wine bottle for what we’re sure will be a stylish makeover! He stated, “I’ve dressed many people in my life, but never a bottle of wine.” Well there’s a first time for everything, Zac!
Posen, whose designs can be found on endless A-listers that have graced the red carpet, – Rihanna, Naomi Watts, and Rita Ora, just to name a few – has a long history with the particular wine company, especially since the brand sponsored his first runway show.
The designer said in a press release, “This is such an exciting project because it weaves together my work as a fashion designer and my passion for food, cooking and entertaining. The design will reflect the bright, floral qualities of the wine, giving any table a stylish, refreshing look.”
We’re hoping Posen approaches the signature shape of the wine bottle with the same desire and attention to detail of which he approaches the female form. If so, then we’re certain that his wine bottle concept will go down in Ecco Domani history.
The Posen x Domani bottle will be sold in national beverage retailers everywhere that carry Ecco Domani starting in May. And even better, the wine will retail at an affordable $10.99! With price points like that, you can put us down for at least a few bottles.
