Photo: Bridow/WENNZoe Saldanda and her husband, Marco Perego welcomed the birth of their twins this week. The couple who married in June 2013 after a two months of dating, became pregnant earlier this year.
As reported by the UK’s Mirror:
Zoe and her husband Margo Perego are “ecstatic” following the arrival. A source told the newspaper, “Zoe and Marco are delighted, Zoe has been ready to drop for some time and they are both ecstatic to be meeting the twins. This a dream come true for both of them, they are absolutely delighted. They have been looking forward to this day for the last nine months. The source adds: “Both want a big family so this is the start.”
While there’s no word on the sex or names of the babies, Saldana did say on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that she plans on something off-beat.
“Our parents are like, ‘Oh it should be Rocco, Giovanni, Luigi, Antonio Ramon Jose!’ And you’re like, ‘Oh my god people, chill, chill!’ We’re kind of hippie. We want it to be like, Lavender. I’m joking!”
Saldana spent this year promoting her Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and will be in 2015’s “Nina” Nina Simone biopic.
