MME BUCKZ: the Chicago rapper all the Labels are bidding on!

Published

on

Chicago is home to some of the most influential rappers of all time, artists like Common, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Chance the Rapper and for better or worse Kanye West.

This list is just a small sample of the influence Chicago has had on the rap scene; but one name quickly making their way on to this legendary and illustrious list is the 23-Year-old rapper MME BUCKZ.

Though this young brother is new on the scene, only just starting to make music in march of this past year, his long time love of rap and music overall had him in and out of the studio since a child.

Now, I know your probably wondering about the title of this article and I promise it is not click bait, listening to MME BUCKZ and his gang gives you a weird but amazing sound combination of Lil B & Lord infamous but if they were from the Midwest.

Just give songs like “Mega Man” or “Hidden agenda” a listen and you will see exactly what I mean. Now this comparison is not a bad thing as the Midwest accent lends it self very well to the Based-style verses of BUCKZ on “Mega Man”.

His latest EP “Too Icy” is a 6 track banger of straight braggadocio, swagger, and fly street Speak that will definitely be in your playlist if that is your vibe. “Protect Ya Neck” & “Cold Minute are my personal Favorites.

What MME BUCKZ lacks in super lyrical bars, he makes up for with swagger and presence; his laidback demeanor gives off an almost soothing cadence every time he raps.

His 2023 is looking to be fire as he is currently signed to independent powerhouse label Bentley Records, though the rumor mill is abuzz with the word that Multiple labels are now in a bidding war for MME BUCKZ and the gang. It will be an interesting to see where he lands or if he stays with Luca Dayz and Bentley Gang.

You can check out his music everywhere music is streamed and sold. or just tune into his Spotify by clicking here!
