Tigo B Drops Exciting New Single “Winner”

Published

on

Following the launch of his restaurant Romeo’s Vegan Burgers, one of the first vegan drive—thrus to open in the Southeast, Carolina-based Hip-Hop artist turned business owner Tigo B delivers the VoVo-produced single “Winner.” An ode to the loyal ladies in his life, the release serves as yet another example of why the talented creative’s fanbase continues to evolve while simultaneously making it a priority to keep feeding his rap-leaning core support group.

Crediting his time spent visiting monks at Buddhist Temples in China’s Anhui Province for his newfound ability to reach an untapped level of spirituality through ancient meditation techniques, these practices have aided him tremendously in not only further developing his artistry but jump-started his journey into veganism; spawning the birth of his vegan burger brand after COVID-19 put his music career on hold.

In a statement to the press, the multi-disciplinary explains the record’s central theme:

“This song was created to give women their flowers for all the hard work and support they offer us as men. It’s about celebrating a woman who has held me down through thick and thin. They are winners, no matter the circumstances they are faced with.”

Kazon’s “Lost They Mind”: A Vivid Exploration of Urban Struggle and Survival

Published

on

From the heart of Southeast Washington, DC, where gunfire is a common sound and dreams often fade into shadows, comes a stark and powerful narrative: young men trapped in a relentless cycle of violence. This isn’t just a story of urban decay; it’s a raw portrayal of lives spiraling out of control, where every gunshot marks another soul lost in the chaos.

Kazon, a powerful voice from these streets, brings this reality to life with his latest track, “Lost They Mind.” His lyrics cut deep, exposing the harsh truths behind the headlines and statistics. Growing up amidst turmoil and uncertainty, Kazon understands the allure of the streets and the heavy price paid in blood.

Each verse of “Lost They Mind” is a testament to survival against overwhelming odds. Kazon speaks of friends turned enemies, brothers lost too soon to the merciless grip of violence. His perspective is grounded in personal experience, with scars that tell the story of nights filled with sirens and shattered glass.

This track is more than just a rap; it’s a call to action against complacency and ignorance. It’s a plea to break free from the cycle of self-destruction and reclaim lost potential. The chorus echoes like a mantra of despair and defiance: “N*ggas bustin’ shots like they lost they mind, like 25 to life never crossed they mind.” In Kazon’s world, redemption is not a distant dream but a gritty reality, fought for with every breath. He challenges listeners to face the uncomfortable truth: behind every statistic is a broken family, a grieving mother, and a community reeling from the impact of violence.

Sampling Tem’s “Me & U,” Haitian Hip-Hop artist Alex Jean recruits Grammy Award-winning instrumentalist Rodney Jerkins for his latest leak “I Need Faith.” Co-produced by Jack Lawson, the infectious yet inspirational cut finds the Florida native effortlessly rapping the song’s lyrics with his larger than life vocals. The record marks Jean’s addition to Darkchild’s Alienz Alive label and preview of what new found fans can expect going forward.

Born and raised in Orlando with an older sister and their parents, Alex Jean is no stranger to adversity or achievement. Though early on in grade school he was a self described troublemaker, getting into fights and causing mischief, his family eventually moved into a well to do neighborhood where he received a more suitable education. The graduate of Lake Minneola Highschool, credits his father’s musical talents, Michael Jackson, Reggaeton acts like Don Omar and the strong bond with his sibling as the foundation for his forward progression.

Prior to making the decision to be a full time recording artist, Alex thought he was going to be a guitarist but soon realized his voice was ultimately the instrument he’d be using to help influence the world and help people in it find freedom. Last year his “Love Like That” collaboration with Hulvey & Torey D’Shaun reached No. 45 on Billboard’s HCS chart and with new music loaded up he’s poised to make a lasting impact that transcends the status quo.
