Born on the East Coast of the United States but now based in the West Coast sunshine of Los Angeles, rapper CANYON has made 2021 a year to remember. Influenced by a heady diet of 2pac, Kanye, Jadakiss, Tyler the Creator, Big K.R.I.T., ASAP Rocky, Kid Cudi, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, he has been freestyling since the age of 11 and had early success on the internet before really knuckling down during the pandemic.
Immersing himself in the studio life and working on his already impressive lyrical flow, he has released tracks that are really grabbing the attention of a global audience. Collaborating with artists such as Jadakiss and Raekwon has certainly catapulted his career to the next level. In fact, it is picking up speed if his most recent hit “IN THE PAINT” is anything to go by, which already has 1.29M plays on Soundcloud.

Now, CANYON is back with a music video for “IN THE PAINT,” featuring Mvthabrain, where the two are seen taking over New York.
