When Burton, SC rapper OG Case came across my desk it was a welcome surprise to turn on “True Colors” and get taken on a 2min 53sec journey of raw emotion and deep self-reflection.

“True Colors” is a deeply personal experience of loving and being loved while broken spoken from the mind and heart of someone active in the field. This different approach isn’t the first time something like this has been done but it’s Cases’  raw emotion and audible pain and regret that makes this amazing track stand out.

OG Case has a air of realism that’s refreshing and rare in today’s musical climate.

If you are a fan of artists like Yung Bleu, Ralo, Don Trip, or others who let their pain bleed through their music then OG Case is the artist for you. After giving a listen to “True Colors” I would suggest giving “Shed a tear” and “Stand on it”. Honestly, his entire discography is fire; you would never know he only has a few years into this starting his musical career in 2017. We can’t wait to hear more music from OG Case.
