Straight out of the Mecca of hip-hop; rapper 100GrandRoyce got involved in music by battling in and around NYC with his crew, The Stackboys. Things started to come together, though, when he began appearing on the weekly TV show Mad Ciphas, which aired on Sundays in Manhattan and Brooklyn. He made himself into a regular on the series, killing his appearances and generating ample buzz. The attention enticed him to get in the studio and work on an actual project – and he hasn’t checked his rearview since.

With influences that include B.I.G., Jadakiss, Jeezy, and T.I. – to name a few – 100GrandRoyce describes his sound as “that new wave in the city,” and a manifestation of the the hustler spirit of New York. He’s from Harlem, but after touring and traveling the country, that same hustler energy from other cities has naturally blended into his sound; consequently, his music is energetic, edgy, and sometimes playful.

He’s striving to be one of the biggest non-conventional independent artists coming out of NY. He’s working to make his label, ALLHUNDOS ENT, a home for self-sufficient artists to be successful on their own. When it comes to his legacy, he wants people to take away the fact that he didn’t follow any rules in this game. “I did it my way to becoming the artist that I am,” he remarks, “I never chased the fame or the money. History will remember me as a legend, but for my reasons.”

Currently, 100GrandRoyce is in the studio working on his upcoming album, By Any Means. It’s entirely self-produced and tells the story of both the pitfalls money of women and the triumphs of love and family. He likens it to the trials and tribulations of his own life at the moment.

“I never shy away from the passionate, raw lyrics that set me apart from other artists.” It’s this very passion that makes him such a problem in the industry. 100GrandRoyce is a star on the rise, and he proves it on his single, “Don’t Slip”, produced by F.A.M.E.Z. off of his upcoming CHIPS EP.
