Published

on

Sacramento’s very own, Showtime Ramon, is back with a fresh new release for his listeners titled Venom Dripp. The 6 track project continues to showcase the artist’s lyrical flow that keeps his fans coming back for more. “I wanted to put on an array of cool bars for my listeners, I look at rap as a sport so the more you can score lyrically the doper you are” says Ramon when speaking on his latest release. The project opens with the previously released single “Spin Cycle” which the artist also delivered a visual for. Ramon is backed by killer production that makes it even easier for him to deliver his flow that is influenced by the world around him, from sports to pop culture & his love for professional wrestling. Showtime isn’t one to shy away from telling it how it is either, delivering poison-like bars throughout Venom Dripp as he aims to shoot down those who he feels aren’t in his circle. He states “I’m comparing myself to other rappers or competitors, vocalizing the differences between myself and the rapper next to me”. With over 18,000 listeners on Spotify and a new EP out, Showtime Ramon keeps the pressure on & continues to build his fan base with the talent he provides behind the mic. Inflicting his raps with doses of dopeness that keeps the streams on an upward trend, and the artist doesn’t plan to stop soon. Bump Venom Dripp below & tap in with Ramon on social media as well.

Boogie Taps Nottz & All-Star Cast For Upcoming ‘Ants & Elephants 2’

After solidifying himself with his Conway The Machine-assisted ‘Goat Eater’ standout “Details,” Boogie aka Boogie3x announces the sequel to 2017’s ‘Ants & Elephants’ by uploading a new visual to YouTube featuring three unreleased tracks all crafted by Nottz. The fellow Virginia-based creative and DMP member not only handled instrumentation for the aforementioned records but will serve as Ants & Elephants 2 executive producer. Additional production on the project will be handled by 1500 or Nothin’ sound architect PointGuard; most known for his work with Nipsey Hussle, Kelly Rowland, and Lupe Fiasco.

Speaking on the unique way he decided to share the news, Gerald Junior states:

“Back in the day when artists would premiere videos on 106th & Park and TRL they would tease another record or give us a 2 for 1 to raise anticipation for albums. I wanted to do what I do best and restore that nostalgic feeling as I gear up to release my new body of work. Also, I got a chance to pay homage to my brother Treie, who was shot and killed last year in Hampton.”

Watch the CheckTheCredits-directed visuals for “Cold,” “Champion,” and “W.G.B.A.” below as well as stream the original ‘Ants & Elephants’ on your DSP of choice below. Expect the artwork, tracklist, and release date for Ants & Elephants 2 to be unveiled next month via HBE/Better Music Group.

The beautiful guitar-driven track highlights her incredible voice and eloquent songwriting. Dakari Eli wrote, arranged, produced, and recorded the entire project with her home recording studio with instrumentals purchased online. The project was mixed and mastered by renowned composer DJ SpinDoc.

Cuffin’ Season follows her debut EP, “Black Dove Blue Song” which received critical acclaim with support from several leading media outlets including Hip-Hop Since 1987, Respect Magazine, Right On!, Urban Magazine, This Entertainment, and more.

“My Way” is the second single from her sophomore project, coming on the heels of the soulful “888” which was accompanied by a sultry visualizer that premiered in November.

“’888’ is symbolic of the infinite emotion that is all-consuming after lovemaking occurs between karmic lovers. The void that is created once the relationship doesn’t pan out feels like an eternity,” the singer/songwriter explains.
