Aphex Twin Shares New AFX Track "oberheim blacet1b" Published 9 years ago on July 31, 2015 By Welsh Aphex Twin, aka Richard D. James, recently revived his AFX moniker for an upcoming EP, Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008). Following “Serge Fenix Rendered 2”, he’s shared “oberheim blacet1b”, another cut off the forthcoming release. The track was premiered by Mary AnneHobbs on BBC Radio 6 Music; listen to it here around the 2:38:13 mark. Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008) is out August 21 on Warp. Richard D. James has also uploaded a mastered version of “MARCHROMT30A EDIT 2B 96”, which appeared as a Japanese bonus track on last year’s Syro, and was released as a 12″ earlier this year by Warp.
