Ariel Winter Wears Sophisticated Crop Top on the Red Carpet (and Looks Amazing)

Published

on

Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter has been very open about the struggles she’s faced dressing for her body. But judging from her recent style outings, she’s starting to enjoy herself more than ever. Last night she attended a swanky gala in a very sophisticated crop top and high-waisted pant ensemble. (Is it too early to start a holiday outfit mood board?)

The 19-year-old sported a black criss-cross halter top, showing off a sliver of her strong obliques with a matching ankle-length trouser at the International Women’s Media Foundation Courage Awards. The real styling standout though, was in her accessorizing. She kept the look polished with skinny ankle strap sandals, very delicate rings and a gray metallic clutch.

Winter’s on a style roll lately, experimenting with many new-for-her looks on the red carpet. Over the last few weeks she’s worn a plunging (very old Hollywood-esque) skintight gown, structured black jumpsuit and beaded low cut dress.

She told PEOPLE last year that she was still trying to find her style groove. “It’s interesting, because I’m very young, but I have a more mature body,” she said at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards. “So it’s a blessing and a curse. I have to find things that are appropriate to wear but also fit my body well, so it still looks good.”

Over the summer, the star opened up about her breast reduction surgery (which took her from a 32F chest to a 34D), and how she had more style possibilities with her new figure. She told Glamour.com, “I’m just excited to try on all the dresses! Now I can wear all styles of dresses and all styles of things. There was so little that I could wear that was age-appropriate. I’d have to wear the dress that was super tight and formfitted everywhere because if I didn’t, it didn’t look good.”

Mobby Rosas – “Up To Sum” f/ Westside Boogie (Video) + “The 4th Step” (Album)

Published

The track “up to sum” is one of my favorite stories of how a collaboration came about. WESTSIDE BOOGIE had posted an open verse challenge for his song “Mood” on instagram and I picked it up. I’ve done a few open verse challenges before, to no favorable outcome other than just posting more content. I didn’t think much would come of this verse entry. I recorded my video audition for the song while at work, I was a server at a hotel restaurant in downtown LA, in uniform and all. I posted it and tagged WS Boogie and to my surprise, he DM’d me saying that he thought my verse was hard and if I ever wanted him on a project, he was down. I remember reading the message at work and being in shock. I had wanted to work with WS Boogie for years and had even tried to reach out in the past, to no response. I immediately hopped on the opportunity to.
