Kelly Rowland’s song “Dirty Laundry” has gotten a lot of attention and a lot of chatter from fans. But the former Destiny’s Child singer shared in a recent interview just how one person in particular responded to the song: her longtime friend Beyonce. Kelly spoke to Kelson of 93.9 WKYS radio in Washington, DC about the song and Beyonce’s reaction. “Of course!” she said when asked if she’d played the song for Bey. “I played it for her and [fellow former Destiny’s Child member] Michelle [Williams.]” She said Beyonce responded with warmth and understanding. “She was just like ‘I never left,'” Rowland says. “Which was so sweet. It was endearing. She heard how real I was and she was just like ‘I’m so proud of you.’” |
