Bourjois Spring Launches 2015

I’ve had these new arrivals from Bourjois in my possession for less than 24 hours, but I just had to share with you all the newness as there are some extremely exciting launches coming our way! Bourjois don’t faff about when it comes to seasonal arrivals and their Spring releases are no different; there’s a new base, lots of new nail goodies, a new lipstick format and some brilliant brow products too.

The new foundation is the Nude Sensation which appears to be a bit of a multi-tasker, with the main selling point being that it smooths skin and blemishes rather than camouflage them.  It’s only available in 4 shades so I’m assuming it’s designed to blend with skin, making it quite an interesting concept that I’m looking forward to trying.  It’s RRP is £9.99, although you can get it for £8 from Feel Unique now – link – and it launches nationwide in May.

The new nail products consist of a new nail enamel collection, La Laque, and the Magic Nail Care.  La Laque consists of 12 new vibrant shades in funky, angular bottles with cleverly developed brushes that include a no-drip stem.  The Magic Nail Care is something I’m really excited about; it’s tapping in to the brand’s success with their pot removers by supplying a similar approach to applying cuticle oil, so you literally dip your finger in, move it around a bit (by which point it’s gripped by the enclosed massaging sponge) then remove before moving on to your next finger and finally massaging in the residue.  I have terrible cuticles that I pay someone to battle on my behalf once a week, so I’m hoping this will help me form better nail care habits.  It’s £6 here – link – and goes nationwide next month.

The Brow Showroom now contains three members, two of which are new – the Brown Natural and Brow Design – which join the existing and brilliant Sourcil Precision, the latter of which was my first ever encounter with a brow product (that I can remember!) and I have extra love for since they offer a wealth of paler shades, which is rare in a line of brow pencils.  The Brow Natural is a felt-tip style brow pen that’ls available in three shades.  These felt-tip brow pens are absolutely brilliant for doodling the illusion of brow hairs – much better than pencils in my opinion – so if you have gappy brows or tend to sleep on one side which can wear away at parts of your brow, a felt-tip like Brow Natural is worth a go.  Also pictures is a Brow Mascara, which is available in three shades as well as a clear variant.  I have high hopes for this as my brows do tend to wander, resulting in inexplicable direction change that always looks a little alarming in photographs…Finally there’s the Brow Beauty Touch with is an illuminating pencil you can use either to shape and highlight the brows, or on the inner eye rims to brighten your eyes.  Sourcil Precision is £4.99 and available everywhere now, Brow Natural and Brow Beauty Touch are £6.99 each and Brow Design is £7.99 – if I’m reading the release right then these all launch in June.

Finally, who didn’t give a little squeal when they found out a new lip product was coming our way from Bourjois? The Aqua Laque, I think, is Bourjois’ answer to a good, hydrating lip lacquer since they’re highly pigmented, glossy and intensely moisturising, so they’re sounding like pretty much my dream lip product and I can’t wait to get stuck into these.  There are eight gorgeous shades that mostly fall into the red or pink colour spectrum, but if neither of those colours do it for you then don’t despair as knowing Bourjois they’ll add to the line-up soon.  These are available now with a couple of deals worth checking out; they’re normally £8.99 but can be found for £7.20 each here – link – or Boots have them on 3for2 here – link.
