Bun B Debates Paula Deen Racism Scandal on Twitter (@bunbtrillog @paula_deen)

Legendary Houston rapper Bun B. is upset that the hip-hop community is being used as a scapegoat during the Paula Deen racsim scandal. He pointed out on Twitter that Paula admitted to using the n-word way before rap was even invented. 

“I love how people point to rappers when the N-word comes up. Paula Deen was using the word before rap music was INVENTED.” 

The “Draped Up” rapper continued to share his thoughts as he tweeted, “If you’re mad that Paula Deen can’t say the N-word but rappers can..tell her to start rapping,” and added, “I won’t stand for rap/hip hop being a scapegoat every time a white person says the N-word. We deal with our criticism..let her deal with hers.” 

He also debated with followers on Twitter who spoke their mind on the situation and asked Bun questions they had, which you can view in the above slide:
