Chance the Rapper Criticizes Miley Cyrus’ VMAs Hosting

Miley Cyrus was the host of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. In between surprise-releasing a new album and getting into a tiff with Nicki Minaj, she also wore a variety of crazy outfits, told jokes, and aired pre-taped skits. One person who didn’t care for her shtick was Chance the Rapper, who took issue with Miley saying “mammy” while introducing a sketch that featured her grandmother and Snoop Dogg, as well as her dreadlock wig.
