Charlize Theron stepped out in one of her most surprising looks to date — a skintight metallic gold dress at the Capitol Grand launch party in Hong Kong on Wednesday — and we can’t stop staring at her in it!
The Mad Max: Fury Road actress, 40, paired the glitzy figure-forming dress with black lace-up sandals, a mirrored box clutch, Graziela Gems earcuffs and a ring by EFFY Jewelry.

In addition to her showstopping liquid-like gold design, Theron brought even more drama to the ensemble with her moody, wine-colored lip and her slightly tousled, side-swept cropped hairstyle.
Even though the star’s look was a total 180 from the majority of her past red carpet moments, it’s definitely one we won’t forget. Who other than Theron (and Rihanna, probably) could pull off something as daring as this super-shiny gold dress?
