Chrissy Teigen Talks Jimmy Dean Sausage And Beauty With The New Potato

We can’t get enough of Chrissy Teigen. From following her on Instagram and seeing all of her funny at-home antics and food pics, we know that the model and wife to John Legend is hilarious person, gorgeous model, and a total foodie. The New Potato recently caught up with Teigen at Frank Restaurant in New York City to talk about what keeps her looking good and feeling good, and now we’re more obsessed than ever.
First of all, it turns out that Teigen is a girl after our own heart–she loves to start off her mornings with an egg and cheese sandwich specially made my John himself–if only we were all so lucky–and always keeps some Jimmy Dean sausage in the fridge. (I mean, what? Can we just be best foodie friends already?) Sausage is clearly a feel-good comfort food, but how does she stay looking so fresh too? Thanks to an impressive skincare regime. “I am crazy about skincare. I have about eight different creams, gels and serums that my esthetician set me up with,” she told the site.
In terms of shopping, it seems that she’s just like the rest of us; Chrissy told TNP she splurges on “skin creams, cooking classes, dinner parties, purses and shoes.” She also shared her dream cover modeling gig, and since she’s already been on Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, the next best things are Vogue (of course) and V Magazine.
She’s not all silly smiles though; for her dream dinner party, Chrissy let a bit of her more sensitive side show through, saying “I get this question often and I always have the same answer – I am much to insecure of a cook to ever imagine this kind of scenario. I’d much prefer cooking for my nearest and dearest — the ones who will eat the parchment I left in my cake or chew through the tough bits.” Are we on that list?
