Christina Aguilera has experimented with so many style phases, it’s hard to keep track (just her looks on The Voice alone were bold and unpredictable). But over the weekend, the singer brought back her old-school Hollywood siren look in a super-glam, super-plunging gown.

The star attended the Breakthrough Prize Award Ceremony at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, in a black curve-hugging gown with gold-embroidered accents (accentuating her waist) and a plunging neckline, plus, daring open back. (The accessory that really cinched her sexy look? Walking arm-in-arm with her man, Matthew Rutler!)
Aguilera kept her makeup just as sultry as her gown, with full feathery lashes, an all-over golden glow and bombshell side-swept waves.

Aguilera recently announced her return to the judges’ panel on season 10 of the Voice, sharing a photo on Instagram with the caption “mama’s coming.” But the star has been keeping busy working as the spokesperson for Yum! Brands’ World Hunger Relief Effort (with a PSA during her emotional trip to Ecuador) and organizing fundraisers in support of Hillary Clinton‘s campaign at her Beverly Hills home.
