Did the Tony Awards Make Neil Patrick Harris Drop the N-Word? (@ActuallyNPH @MikeTyson)

The opening act for the 2013 Tony Awards was absolutely incredible, and a large part of the praise has gone to Tony host Neil Patrick Harris.  However there was one eyebrow raising moment that occurred.  When Mike Tyson walked on stage and did a brief dance number next to Neil, it sounded as though Neil might’ve actually dropped the n-word when referencing Mike.

While it hasn’t been confirmed, at the 3:15 mark Mike Tyson stepped out onto the stage and walked while performing light dance steps next to Neil Patrick Harris.  It was during their brief routine that sounds as though Neil definitely said:

“I’m here with Iron Mike he’s a heavyweight yo, we’re going bigger, the rightest n*gger, we’ve got cheerleaders contortionists and so!”

Neither Neil or members from the Tony awards have commented on the matter.  Who knows, maybe it was simply a line that Mike Tyson said during his actual one-man show on Broadway, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” which could explain why it was used during the opening performance for the Tony Awards.

Check out the video above.  What do you think Neil Patrick Harris said?
