Drake On Kanye Competition: I’m Ready For Whatever With Anybody (@drake @kanyewest)
Drake and Kanye West have been actively competing for that “top spot” amongst the hip-hop and general music artist elite. He’s been putting out loads of fresh and unique music, but so has Mr. West. Drake is going to be featured on the cover of the September issue of XXL magazine, and he spoke to them about the competition his peers offer him, specifically Kanye West.
“I’ve never been part of a year when so many legends are dropping projects. It’s tough for me. That’s a guy I can’t pretend not to like. He’s the guy to me, in a lot of ways. That’s Kanye West. But I’m also here to be the best. I’m here to surpass. I’m here to outdo. I’m ready for whatever with anybody.”
Who do you think will reign supreme out of these two MCs? Maybe in the future they can put their influence on their fans to the test and release an album on the same day.
