Ellen DeGeneres’s Lifestyle Site Is Already Selling Out!

Ellen DeGeneres has added ‘lifestyle guru’ to her resume, and it’s safe to say that after a mere two weeks, she’s easily mastered the newly acquired title. Before the launch of the television host’s new venture, Edbyellen.com, we showed you a sneak peak of the exclusive offerings – which we have to say, are a lifestyle maven’s dream. And now according to WWD, within 24 hours of making it’s debut, the site had more than 300,000 registered users, and several items sold out!

The popular collection features decorative home items, women’s apparel and a range of accessories – so you can easily understand why the launch had such an amazing response. But aside from DeGeneres’s already loyal following (45.2 million Twitter followers), EdbyEllen got major social media boost from a few celebrity shoutouts – stars like Madonna, Kim Kardashian and Pharrell Williams turned to Twitter to show attention to their friend, and her new lifestyle line.

Sold out items included the Indigo Striped linens and pillows, Oversized Stripe Crew Neck Sweatshirt, Horsebit Cheese Knives Set, and a white Cotton Bomber Jacket (which happens to be one of our faves!). And after scouring through the remaining offerings on the site, we’re starting to think maybe DeGeneres has a natural niche for the competitive lifestyle market.
