Immortal Technique addressed the current rise of Battle Rap within the mainstream during his continued interview with VladTV’s Battle Rap Journalist, Michael Hughes. He acknowledged the level of progression that Battle Rap has made over the years as marked by finally being featured on television with a wide audience tuning in. He also spoke on the possibility of Smack/URL hosting a “Battle Rap Olympics” of sorts, although he is doubtful that Smack would be willing to do that.
