Hanne Gaby Odiele: First Model, Now Shoe Designer
Behind professional athletes, one of the top careers that sees the right shoe as of the utmost important aspects of their wardrobe is probably in modeling. Think about it; traipsing back and forth across town for go-sees, castings, fittings, shows and shoots. Of course and the idea that you want to do all of this work and be comfortable while at the same time showing some sort of personality. Footwear is pretty important. So the idea of a model launching a footwear line — Armando Cabral anyone — isn’t a far fetched idea.
Hanne Gaby Odiele has been working on a little range of her own in collaboration with Matt Bernson for the past year. Comprised of four styles — all flat mind you– the line-up dutifully ticks those boxes of individuality and comfort.
