It’s no surprise that luxury brands are making an effort to bridge the gap between fashion and technology. From Ralph Lauren’s smart-tech compression shirts to companies like Net-A-Porter launching their own social networks, fashion is definitely in the driver’s seat. And now Dior has made a huge step toward the popular fusion that we’ve all come to love!
The Parisian couture brand recently announced that its customers will now be getting a one-of-a-kind in-store experience thanks to an investment in virtual reality goggles. According to Digital Trends, the brand has created Dior Eyes: a headset that gives its wearers a backstage view of the label’s latest ready-to-wear runway show.
Dior Eyes will be installed in select boutiques around the world – which means no, we won’t be able to enjoy the fashion show from the privacy of our own homes. But luckily, the label gave everyone a sneak peak of what’s expected to come.
