iLoveMakonnen Working With Drake, Diplo, Rihanna, Skrillex, Snoop Dogg on Debut Album
iLoveMakonnen‘s “Tuesday” (which claimed the #2 spot in our 100 Best Tracks of 2014 list) was nominated for a Grammy, which meant the singer was at Sunday’s ceremony. In a red carpet interview with MTV News, he revealed that he’s hoping to release his debut album in June or July, and said he’s been collaborating with artists such as Drake, Diplo, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, and Skrillex. He’ll begin touring in April, he said. Additionally, Makonnen revealed Drake’s advice for attending the Grammys: “Smile.” Spoken like a former child actor!
