It’s Time To Ditch The Boring Black Leather Jacket

If Paris Fashion Week taught us anything, it’s that black leather jackets are so passé.

OK, that might be a slight exaggeration, but thanks to Miranda Kerr we are definitely eyeing a bright and bold leather jacket for fall. At the Louis Vuitton show, the former Victoria’s Secret model was spotted wearing a emerald green biker jacket, which she paired with a black leather skirt and lace up boots. The jacket was the perfect accent to a rocker-chic outfit, and proof that any color is the new black when it comes to leather jackets.

All throughout fashion week, we have spotted leather jackets in bold blues, yellows and reds, adding another level to the outerwear staple. Bright graphic designs can also bring new life to a weathered jacket. Paired with distressed denim, a flirty dress or even a LBD, a bright leather jacket is the perfect accent.
