Today in Instagram news, Jared Leto chopped off his long, ombre locks for his role as the Joker in an upcoming film.
Leto took to Instagram to share the saddening news, with a black and white shot of scissors about to cut off his long locks. The film’s director, David Ayers, then went onto Twitter to share the final results.
“I miss my beard already,” Leto captioned his Instagram pic.
Leto will be starring in the upcoming DC Comic film “Suicide Squad” alongside Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis.
While Leto is not the first celeb to cut off their hair for a role, his makeover is definitely hard to swallow for many fans. Leto, who is known for his ombre locks and perfect man bun, upset thousands of fans when he made the big chop, and the Internet did not disappoint when it comes to memes surrounding his new cut.
