Jennifer Lawrence Loves This Turtleneck So Much, She’s Worn it Three Times This Week
When we saw the photos of Adele, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence all hanging out Monday night, we had a couple thoughts once we got past the blinding envy and crippling FOMO. The first was: We will be invited to the next hangout. The second was: Jennifer Lawrence is really loving that turtleneck lately!
Before we even get into the general outfits of the three most fun ladies of all time having delicious Mexican food without us, let’s talk turtleneck. It’s Tamara Mellon’s lace turtleneck blouse, it’s currently on sale for $597, and it’s beloved by other stars including Elizabeth Hurley and Rita Ora. But none loves it more than Lawrence, who first wore it Nov. 17 to attend Adele’s N.Y.C. concert, brought it back out for an appearance on Conan on Nov. 19 in L.A., then tossed it back into her suitcase to return to N.Y.C., where she wore it Nov. 23 to go to dinner with the gals. Three times in six days might be an “I Really Love My …” world record. (She’s been teaming it with black skinnies, booties and wavy locks, proving that the lady knows what she likes.)

But lest you think we’re overlooking the style of her dining companions, rest easy. Emma Stone continued her tradition of wearing things we’d love to borrow for Thanksgiving weekend, teaming raw-hemmed M.i.h. flares with a fuzzy Rag & Bone sweater and her favorite Rag & Bone bag. Adele went a bit more dressed down, bundling up in an Iris von Arnim scarf, cocoon coat and classic Converse Chuck Taylors.
And wait, there’s more! This is not the first time in the past week that Jennifer Lawrence has worn sheer black lace to dinner with Adele. On Nov. 21, she grabbed a bite at the Waverly Inn with her Hunger Games costars at the same time as the superstar singer, wearing a long black lace dress with a cream overcoat, Stuart Weitzman mules and an Eva Fehren pendant. Adele went a bit more funky than she did on her more recent outing, wearing a beaded jacket with fur details, black flare pants and a pretty glam hat.
