The star of Netflix’s upcoming series Fuller House teamed up with her friend, designer Erica Anenberg, to create the Carry The Message collection of bracelets and cuffs that feature mantras of hope, happiness and healing.

The pieces, most rhodium or gold-plated and some with tiny diamond detailing, range from $68 to $160 and are available to purchase at JS4EA.com.

Sweetin, 33, chatted exclusively with PEOPLE about the inspiration behind the line, her favorite pieces, and what her daughters Zoie, 7, and Beatrix, 5, think of Mom’s new accessories.

Why a jewelry line? Why now?
I’ve always wanted to find some new and different ways to express my creativity and I felt like creating beautiful jewelry pieces that have messages that are important in my life would be a great way to do that. It seems like I’m so lucky to have things lining up right now that I wanted to be able to show people a little more of who I am, and to have my friend Erica Anenberg designing with me, it was a perfect match at a perfect time!

Have you always been into accessories?
I have, but I like a few simple pieces, something that is meaningful and special. I think this line really captures that for me and makes simple, elegant statements.

What do your daughters think of your new venture?
My girls are thrilled! They are both very girlie and love this kind of stuff. Zoie is already asking me if she can have some necklaces to wear. She’ll be my best customer!

What’s your favorite piece in the line and why?
This line of jewelry is very close to my heart, using words like “willingness,” “joy” and “expect miracles,” which are the ways that I live my life today. These pieces are my constant reminders, every time I look in the mirror or down at my wrist, of just who I am and what I believe in. I hope that other people will use them as little reminders as well.

One of my favorite pieces from the line is a bracelet that says, “we are not saints.” I look at that and remember that while I’m always trying to be the best person I can be, perfection is not demanded, nor expected. I can breathe a little easier and it reminds me not to take myself too seriously!

If you are a fan of Hip-Hop production then you know the letters MPC. the MPC has been a staple in hip hop production since the 80s and have gone through many models. the current crop of MPCs (MPC X, MPC Key 61, MPC Live/Live II, MPC One) are the most technologically advanced models with what amounts to mini computers inside. they van be expanded with SSD drives and sd cards, and have built in vsts and expansions. the cool thing is these can also be loaded with custom expansions and right now the leader of the custom expansion game is a small company called Cubilas. coming on the scene a few years ago, Cubilas provides custom sounds from other instruments and samplers converted especially for the new generation MPCs. from Korg to Yamaha, Cubilas curates the sounds and gets them right.

Cubilas says is a passion and labor of love to come out with these expansions (there are new releases constantly) and being a producer himself, its always challenging to push the envelope.

Steel Drumz back at it again

One of the hip hop games’ most diverse and interesting duos is back with their second full length album. The Argentinian and Bahamian one-two punch, who have made their roots in Miami, deliver a 13-track project full of “Gorilla Smackz”, pun fully intended!
With Miami legend Tony Castillo AKA Gorilla Tek at the helm, providing production throughout the entire project, it’s safe to say that they maintained the same chemistry as they did on so many stand- out tracks from their self-titled first album. As a founding architect of the Miami sound, having worked with the likes of Rick Ross, Trina, Grind Mode, Ball Greezy and a plethora of other Miami artists, it would be easy to try to put Gorilla Tek’s sound in a box, but not on this project.
While there are signature records like the infectious ‘Vibin” or ‘PT PT’ featuring Miami Legend McKlezie, the guys show their love of all sounds including East Coast where Steeldrumz find themselves on a boom bap track with two of the games’ legendary wordsmiths, Termanology and FAME of M.O.P.
Additional features on the album include Yogi Calhoon, a Bay area staple on the braggadocio upbeat ‘Swish’, DJ Killa K and Annishka on the sexy ‘Cocowater’, which is sure to heat up the gentleman’s clubs up and down Florida and Lace who provides sultry vocals on the album’s final and most serious cut, ‘Payola’.
After a complete listen of the album, there is no doubt the chemistry is there amongst the two artists and the producer. Purchase the brand-new album by Steeldrumz, entitled ‘Gorilla Smackz’, Executive produced by Steeldrumz and Gorilla Tek on all digital platforms now.
