Kaley Cuoco Covers Up Tattoo of Wedding Date to Ex Ryan Sweeting, Thanks Artist For Helping ‘Right My Wrongs’
Kaley Cuoco is moving on.
The Big Bang Theory actress took to Instagram Tuesday to document her newest tattoo — which she specifically got to cover up the one of her wedding date to ex Ryan Sweeting.
“Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs,” she captioned a picture of herself grimacing at the camera as a tattoo artist works on her back.
“Note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates,” she continued, adding a “crying tears of laughter” emoji and “#under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids.”
Cuoco also uploaded a black-and-white close-up of the new ink, which appears to be some sort of insect.
“The deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is….. It covered the last one,” she captioned the shot.

Cuoco married Sweeting on Dec. 31, 2013 at a fire-and-ice-themed wedding.
After 21 months of marriage, they announced their split exclusively to PEOPLE on Sept. 25, and Cuoco filed for divorce from the tennis player four days later.
The stars’ decision to end their marriage after 21 months was “mutual,” Cuoco’s rep said, adding that they “ask for privacy at this time.”
A source told PEOPLE after the breakup announcement that Cuoco and Sweeting both “seemed miserable” before their divorce, even during romantic nights out.
In the months since, the actress has kept busy with nights out in Los Angeles and horse-jumping competitions.
Most recently, she even joked about her breakup and the now-covered tattoo while hosting the Stand Up for Pits event in Los Angeles earlier this month.
After laughing along to comedian Whitney Cummings‘ set about dating at the event, Cuoco got on stage and joked about her own marital woes, saying, “Did you also get a tattoo of your wedding date on your back? No? That was just me?” – Cummings then called out from the audience about how funny Cuoco’s joke was, and Cuoco responded saying Cummings could “use the material.”
