Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting: My Husband ‘Loved’ My Pink Hair!
A change will do you good, at least according to Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. The Big Bang Theory star recently dyed her hair pink for a short stint, and it inspired her to experiment even more with her mane.
“I loved the pink hair,” Cuoco-Sweeting told PEOPLE at the one-year anniversary party for ColourPop cosmetics, co-hosted by her makeup artist Jamie Greenberg. “And it faded quicker than I thought which made me excited, because I feel I can do any color I want!”
And Cuoco-Sweeting’s husband of one year also approved of her bold beauty move.
“Ryan loved my pink hair,” she said. “He’s really cute about that. He’s one of those people who is like, ‘You’re beautiful every which way.’ But he loved the pink. Every time he looked at me, he was like, ‘Oh, it’s like I got a new wifey in town!’”

As for her much-copied pixie cut, the 29-year-old actress says she’s planning to keep it short — for now.
“I think my original cut to my chin was my favorite,” she says. “I’ll [grow it and] keep it there!”
In the new season of The Big Bang Theory, her character Penny will also be sporting her short crop.
“We’ve made jokes for years that I was going to cut my hair,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “And I talked to producers and I said, ‘I have this idea, I’d love to cut my hair.’ And they were like, ‘How short?’ It was for a movie over the summer. There was a lot of talk about doing extensions. I had a talk with the writers who loved it and they were great about it. I thought it would be a cool change for Penny and the show so they wrote it in. I got lucky.”
