Kendrick Lamar Goes OFF on Big Sean’s New Track “Control”

Last night the internet went in an uproar as Big Sean’s new track “Control” was released. The track was produced by No I.D and it features Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. Big Sean did a really great job as he opened the song with the first verse. However, it was Kendrick Lamar’s verse that has everyone and their mothers talking. Kendrick has been recognized for being one of the best new lyricist in the rap game, but he wanted to let everyone know that he is definitely coming for the top spot. He calls himself the king of both the West coast and East coast, and he even takes it a step further and names a few rappers such as Drake, Wale and even Big Sean himself (in Big Sean’s own song)…to let them all know he is coming for them.

WARNING: Due to language this song is NSFW (Not Safe For Work):

I am really feeling this new sense of competition Kendrick is bringing to the rap game. Here is a closer look at the verse that has everyone talking:

I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time
Bout who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of yall?
New nigg*s just new nigg*s, don’t get involved
And I ain’t rockin no more designer shit
White T’s and Nike Cortez, this is red Corvettes anonymous
I’m usually homeboys with the same nigg*s I’m rhymin wit
But this is hip hop and them nigg*s should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Mills, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n*ggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n*ggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n*ggas
