FEMALE RAPPER MAKES A STAND AGAINST FAKE VIEWS ON YOUTUBE

Last week female rapper Laughta launched her music video for new single ‘I Find It Funny’ online to a great response from fans, supporters and friends. She had just started promotion for her campaign and everything was building nicely up to her launch on 29th May, Vibe Bar.

Laughta was shocked to find the video had jumped to 8,000 views overnight, and her initial elation turned to suspicion as over the next 2 hours the view numbers jumped up to 12,000 then 16,000, 20,000, finally stopping at over 28,000 views!!

Immediately realising this could not be right, Laughta made the decision to remove the video as she did not want a fake representation of her work, which meant she also lost all the real views she had accumulated with her hard work.

“I was extremely devastated to know that someone had bought fake views. I do not condone fake views under any circumstances and would not in a million years buy fake views to up my profile. Nevertheless I will continue working hard and live by honesty.”

Staying true to her integrity, Laughta has taken the hard step of re-uploading her video afresh, and starting from scratch to rebuild the views. She should be commended for her honesty and commitment as she continues her musical journey.
