Photo: WENNI thought the new Beautyblender alert made for pretty epic beauty news, but MAC Cosmetics definitely has them beat.

Ever wish you could pop into a store and get your makeup done without salespeople hounding you? Well, hit your hallelujah because the first ever M.A.C Makeup Studios will open in New York City on July 15. Located in the Upper East Side on 825 Lexington Ave., the one stop shop will cater to every type of budget with services that range from $15 winged liner looks to an entirely contoured face for $60.

Per New York Times:

“This is the first time we’re putting services out in front,”says longtime M.A.C Creative Director James Gager, while Global Brand President Karen Weiler adds, “It’s about the intimacy the studio provides…“It’s not just for special events or weddings or Halloween anymore.”

The physical layout of the 950 square foot space includes a greeting foyer for visitors in the front, while a smaller section toward the back includes an intimate studio space for scheduled appointments. Alternatively, beauty mavens can still have their makeup done for free at the counters… if they don’t mind the pressure to buy something after.

Much like the trendy blow dry bars throughout major cities, this is major as it provides quick and easy services for a generation that’s always on the go.

Make an appointment here and until the grand opening, keep reading for our top 5 MAC summer essentials!
