He shared that “This is a song about domestic violence, whereas a young kid, used to hear my next-door neighbor get subjected to violence. This made me feel some type of way, as although I never saw her, I used to hear what was happening next door, leaving me confused as a young boy not really understanding what was going on. This song comes from my now-adult perspective, trying to analyze the situation after all these years”
The production has a championship sound to it, as Mezmah lyrically shows off the rings he’s earned throughout his career.
