Mother Arrested For Burning Her 3-Year-Old With a Hot Pocket
An Arizona mother was hit with child abuse charges recently, after she allegedly burned her daughters face with a scorching Hot Pocket. The police report says 35-year-old Katia Lieutaud was arrested near Avondale Boulevard and Van Buren Street in Valley, AZ on Monday. She allegedly got frustrated with her daughter and mashed the scalding Hot Pocket on her face. The report also claims she tied socks around the child’s hands to keep her from touching the burns.
Lieutaud originally told police that her 7-year-old daughter through hot oatmeal at the 3-year-old, but later admitted to what happened after her fiance told on her.
Most unfortunate is that Lieutaud is actually pregnant with another child at the moment. She has a history of child abuse and neglect, prompting child services to take away her kids. All six of her children are in foster care.
