New York Finally Gets A Menswear Fashion Week!
#Menswear New Yorkers rejoice! There will finally be an official men’s NYFW to coordinate with London, Milan and Paris’ men’s fashion weeks. There have been talks of the possibility for two years now, and come July, it will be a reality. Officially called New York Fashion Week: Men’s, it will take place at Skylight Clarkson Sq in SoHo between the dates July 13 to 16. Amazon Fashion, East Dane and MyHabit are official sponsors.
Designers who have already signed up include Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Collection, Michael Kors, Rag & Bone, Public School, Billy Reid, Todd Snyder, Michael Bastian, Ovadia & Sons, Robert Geller, Duckie Brown, Patrik Ervell, Timo Weiland and Kent & Curwen. Quite the list. It was about time the menswear talent in New York got their own stage.
