Nia Long’s Engaged to Ime Udoka: Get a Closer Look at Her Stunning Ring
Engagement ring spotting is one of our favorite pastimes in the PEOPLE offices, and actress Nia Long’s new sparkler is definitely one to stare at. Long, who recently said yes to longtime boyfriend Ime Udoka’s proposal after almost five years together, stepped out with her husband-to-be for a date over the weekend with the new accessory weighing down her left hand.
Long’s mega-carat ring looks to be pear-shaped on a diamond band. She also sported a fresh ‘check-out-my-engagement-ring’ mani for the big reveal.

Long, 44, has starred in The Best Man, Big Momma’s House and Are We There Yet?, and is best known for her role in 1991’s Boyz in the Hood. Udoka, 37, is a former professional basketball player who now coaches for the San Antonio Spurs. The couple has a 3-year-old son, Kez, together.
