Nikolas A Ashley (born March 3, 1988), better known by his stage name NYK Alexzander, is an American singer-songwriter / composer from Little Rock, Arkansas. Currently living in Atlanta, Georgia he signed to Music Junkys and has released EP The Way It Iz until his debut release. Now when it comes to spreading his wings NYK has traveled since the age of 19 being in array of places.

The genre he represents is New Age Swing. The N.A.S genre combines the influence of vintage or modern swing and jazz mixed with hip hop. Successful examples of the genre create a modern and dance-floor focused sound that is more readily accessible to the modern ear, but that also retains the energetic excitement of live and early swing recordings.
