#PFW Runway Recap: Stella McCartney’s SS15 Slumber Party
The pajama trend continues! Stella McCartney shows a sleepwear-inspired collection for Spring 2015. We are going to milk this trend for as long as we can, because what is better than wearing comfy clothes while still looking chic? The collection was filled with fluid silhouettes in silk materials, making the perfect wardrobe for languid summer days.
Luxurious rib knits were folded and formed into dresses for more elevated looks. And keeping with a dusty color palette of sand, rose, cornflower, and more, McCartney’s muted aesthetic exudes her signature, understated sophistication. The English designer has always had a way of creating a contemporary and upscale collection while maintaining simplicity. Stand out ensembles include an oversize-plaid matching set that take PJs to the next level, and flirty floral frocks fit for the Spring occasion.
