Twice a year, fashion industry professionals, celebrities, and random hypebeasts who manage to finagle a ticket, descend down upon the four fashion capitals of the world for each respective fashion week.

The coveted front row seats are usually reserved for editors, buyers and friends of the designer, but the fine folks at Watermill Center’s Summer Benefit Auction are offering front row packages to the Fendi, Prada and Giorgio Armani show in Milan and Miu Miu show in Paris. The starting bids? Just $25,000 for the Milan shows and $10,000 for Miu Miu in Paris.

If you want to skip the hassle of bidding and guarantee your seat, you can buy the whole ticket package for the Milan shows for the small price of $95,000 USD.

While the money collected from the auction will fund the continued support of it’s free-of-charge artist incubator in the Hamptons, it’s important to note that fashion shows are free. Sometimes designers even pay A-list celebs to appear in the front row and industry professionals certainly get their expenses paid by their employers.

If you have the dough to spend by all means get your fashion on, but if not, you’d have better luck pretending you’re a hot shot blogger who just happened to have enough free time to cover the show.

My question is, why pay $95,000 to see the show (which will be all of 10 minutes, or 30 if count all three in one package) when you can use that to buy the entire collection when it’s released? If we’re going to be frivolous, let’s be smart about it.
