Stepping Into The Spotlight: Traci Braxton Receives A Record Deal
Traci Braxton is the loud outspoken younger sister of Toni Braxton, and is also a cast member of the hit reality show The Braxton Family Values. On the show Traci is often portrayed as the “wild child” or the “black Sheep” of the family. Throughout every season of the show, Traci has made it very clear that she would like to pursue a music career that doesn’t involve singing back-up for her older sister.
Well now it looks like Traci is going to get her chance to show the world what she can do, according to S2S Magazine. Traci recently revealed that she has signed a record deal with E One, and that she has a single that will be dropping later this month. According to Traci, her sound is a mixture of Mary J Blige and Jill Scott, and she has some pretty heavy hitters helping her out with her debut album. “Tank wrote a couple of songs on my album, and Raheem DeVaughn is doing a duet with me,” Traci said while at this year’s Essence Music Fest. Traci’s album will drop October 14th, and the new season of The Braxton Family Values is set to air in August on WEtv.
