As much as we’d like to believe that fashion is welcoming the plus size community with open arms, there’s still so much catching up to do. And with the body diversity movement coming such a long way, one specific blogger is making sure that she keeps the momentum going.

Back in 2014, the face behind Curvily, Sarah Chiwaya, created the hashtag, #PlusSizePlease, in an effort to encourage curvy women to upload photos of clothing they love but wish to see in bigger sizes. Since then, 1200 photos have taken advantage of the hashtag, begging retailers like Zara and River Island to become more inclusive and offer a wider range of sizes.

“Over 60% of American women wear a size 14 or above, but only 17% of clothing sold is 14 & up. That is a ridiculous disparity,” Chiwaya says on her blog.

Well now it’s safe to say that the social media movement has gotten some major exposure, and it’s time to break the Internet with it – because how else will brands actually hear what its customers have to say, right?

While we know adding a plus size range isn’t as easy as it sounds, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the #PlusSizePlease hashtag is the start of a revolution that clothing brands won’t be able to ignore.

So in honor of the movement, check out some of our favorite curvy bloggers on the pages ahead.
