Born Free , a project that seeks to end mother-to-child HIV transmission in Africa by 2015, tapped several big name designers for its latest initiative. The campaign called on twenty three designers to create a mother/child outfit as a part of their capsule collection. Sharing the commonality of all being mothers, the designers chosen are also all from top labels. According to The Fashion Times, Victoria Beckham, Alberta Ferretti, Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Chloe, DKNY, Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, J Crew, Marchesa, Marni, Prada, Rachel Roy, Stella McCartney, Tori Burch, Vera Wang and Versace all created pieces for the collection which will be available April 23rd on Shopbop.
