Watch This: RuPaul Speaks On The Supreme Court’s DOMA Ruling
This week has been filled with a lot of stories on the legal side. One of the most publicized was the Supreme Court’s ruling this past week that the Defense On Marriage Act was unconstitutional, making the banning of same sex marriage as illegal. This also allows same sex couples to receive all of the federal benefits and rights as heterosexual married couples are entitled to. This is history in the making, people!
RuPaul released a statement regarding the ruling and celebrating love. RuPaul, along with the cast and crew of RuPaul’s Drag Race posted a video statement on Logo TV‘s site. The statement is beautifully done–RuPaul recognizes just a few of the people who paved the way for this decision and promotes love between all people. Watch the video below:
