Karl Lagerfeld talks Chanel, Free People shoots their Holiday collection in New Mexico, and Kendall Jenner goes mean and reads from her “Burn Book” in our pick of the hippest fashion films of the week.

Kendall Jenner reads from her “Burn Book”

Chanel

Chanel released an interview with the brand’s creative director and well-known fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld. The interview intertwines images of the Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 collection, which took place earlier this week, with video of Karl Lagerfeld. Dressed in his signature all-black ensemble, Karl Lagerfeld takes you through the show’s embroidered looks and explains the origins of the Chanel jacket in Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s visit to the hotel owned by the Baron Pantz.

Free People

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world. Free People filmed a video in White Sands, New Mexico. The short film is titled “Sand Dancer” and stars actress and model Laura Love. Directed by Duncan Winecoff, Love is captured dancing across the sweeping sand dunes of New Mexico. This video was made to accompany the Free People December catalogue, and is soundtracked with “Night” by Zola Jesus.

Kendall Jenner for Dazed & Confused

This hilarious and timely video for Dazed & Confused was put together by director Columbine Goldsmith and stars rising model and megastar Kendall Jenner. In this Mean Girls inspired video, Jenner reads from her “Burn Book.” We loved her dead-pan delivery as she reads phrases culled from her many (well, we hope not too many) internet haters.
