Will & Jada Smith’s Scientolog-ish School Shuts Down
The New Village Leadership Academy funded by Will and Jada Smith is closing its doors. The school which has been heavily linked to Scientology, (although both the school and the Smiths deny the Scientology connection) has shut down due to low funding. The school, according to many sources, employed “methodologies” such as Study Technology that incorporated several concepts from Scientologist leader, L. Ron Hubbard. The Smiths served on the Board of Directors, donated over $1.2 million to the school, while also paying rent and utilities for the first three years.
Everyone has a right to believe whatever they want to believe, but “Scientology” just has a reputation of being cult-ish.
