You’ll Never Guess The New Face Of Louis Vuitton (No, Really)
Alicia Vikander is currently riding the hype train, as press and cinephiles alike are applauding her performance in Alex Garland’s Ex-Machina sci-fi film.
The Royal Affair and Anna Karenina star is also the new face of Louis Vuitton, or at least that’s what she admitted to The Hollywood Reporter the other day at the famous fashion house’s 2016 cruise show in Palm Springs on Wednesday.
“It hasn’t officially been announced yet, but yes,” she confessed to the publication when asked about her role as Louis Vuitton’s new face. Eagle-eyed style watchers have already noticed the 26-year-old’s affinity for all things Louis, as she’s been wearing exclusive items on her press tours for both Ex-Machina, which is in cinemas now, and for her period drama Testament of Youth.
The actress is already planning to kill it for the 2015 film schedule. The Swedish star is slated to be in several films which will hit theaters this year. From the big budget Cold War crime caper The Man From U.N.C.L.E. starring Henry Cavill and with Tom Hooper in The Danish Girl. Louis Vuitton has a strong tendency of hiring gorgeous women with interesting faces (see: Jennifer Connelly and Charlotte Gainsbourg) — and Vikander is definitely no exception. We look forward to seeing the young starlet in LV-designed evening wear stepping out on the red carpet.
