YouTube Prankster Surprises Homeless Guy With A New House ??

Every now and then, we come across a story that restores our faith in humanity. The Homeless Lottery Guy’s story is most definitely one of them.

Back in March, YouTube prankster Rahat pulled one of the greatest pranks ever when he gifted Eric, a homeless man, with a “winning” lottery ticket. Unbeknownst to Eric, the ticket had no value. But, with the store clerk’s help, Rahat hatched a plan to award him the $1,000 winnings.

As if his reaction wasn’t enough to get those tears streaming, Eric turned around and tried to share his winnings with Rahat.

The kind gesture captured the hearts of America and Rahat set up a fund for people to directly donate to the homeless man.

Two months later, we now have an update.

In a video uploaded on Wednesday, Rahat surprises Eric with a new home! Thanks to the $44,000 raised in just 17 days, Rahat was able to get Eric a house where he won’t have to worry about bills and necessities for ONE year! There is also money left over from the donations, that Rahat put in an account for Eric, and to put the icing on the cake, Eric reveals that he has found a job.
