CBF Hollywood – “Pronto” Ft Blizzem

Published

PRONTO COVER

CBF Hollywood, born Harold Joe Jr. in Dunedin FL, is a multi-faceted artist whose cadence is an impression of his life experiences – past and present. The Tarpon Springs, Florida native experienced childhood in a universe of different sounds. When Hollywood was a young boy, he would listen to his grandfather play the organ daily in preparation for the church’s Sunday morning service. Music was constantly present in CBF Hollywood’s household, played by family members. This exposure to music helped to shape the young Harold Jr. into the artist he is today.

CBF Hollywood was initially uninterested in becoming an artist. He discovered that making beats for his family members wasn’t enough to keep him piqued in the game. During their recording sessions, he would mentor them on how they should rap on his beats. Before long, Hollywood became fed up with doing this and chose to bring something else new to the “Sunshine State’s” Hip-Hop scene. Around then, he demonstrated that he was a competitor in this game. He began fostering his melodic technique rapidly which could be heard in his conveyance.

CBF Hollywood has only been in the business for ten years yet has worked with different mainstream/independent artists and labels around the globe. Master-P, Bone Thugs, 2Pac, Juvenile, and Trick Daddy are his major influences. One of his most well-known and listened-to singles is “Cruising LA,” a song he co-wrote with Slim 400, a native of Los Angeles.

CBF Hollywood’s music is innovative, energetic, and lyrical in Hip Hop. He doesn’t go with the flow. Instead, he exudes a distinct Floridian vigor that’s uncommon in that market. The unrivaled sound of the South Florida rapper’s music convinces you to believe his story. Hollywood’s music is popular and exhibits a style and lyricism that is his own. He is known for his popular singles like “Dat Baby,” “Cruising LA,” “On Edge,” and “The Way We Live.” Aggregately, the singles keep accumulating upward of 25,000 streams on Spotify alone.

CBF Hollywood will authoritatively drop his venture “Summertime Slide,” with perfect timing for the intensity. As the proprietor of CBF Records, Hollywood is focused on conveying “feel good” music so that the world might hear it. Hollywood will continue to rise to the occasion with fresh beats and innovative trap flows. Get “locked in” and ride this wave because he is far ahead of the game. Be sure to connect with CBF Hollywood on his website, social media, and digital music platforms.

Lil $o$o Enjoys The View In New Visual “Passion”

Published

Enlisting Sexyy Red director Suave Films for the Remdolla produced small screen interpretation, Lil $o$o signals a compelling exploration beyond her usual Rap style and leans into the realm of R&B with the release of “Passion.” Following “Enhancements,” the timely track unveils a vulnerable dimension that showcases her versatility as an artist. With emotive lyrics and a smooth melody, “Passion” shines light on a deeper layer of $o$o’s artistry, inviting listeners into a journey of introspection and raw emotion.

In a press statement to Medium Creative Agency about single, the Issa Rae-approved “Florida Girl” reveals: “I love this record because it really shows another side of me. Sometimes, I feel like people are so materialistic or surface level, and I really am starting to see that ‘real’ is rare. I hope to find something deeper than that and that’s what made me put that into my music.”

There’s something in the water. From the City Girls to Kodak Black, with a long list of others, the Sunshine State has been the stomping ground for hip-hop’s culture shifters. Entertainer Lil $o$o is looking to keep that tradition alive. Despite being native to Chicago, since moving to Miami in her early childhood, she’s proudly claimed it as her musical home.

The 22-year-old Colombiana, whose real name is Sofia Donado, has persevered through trauma and pain and continues to show up for herself and her 3-year-old son, who she’s raising as a single mom. Lil $o$o’s boyfriend was gunned down in 2019, while sitting in his car, leaving her without a partner and their son without a father. He was in the music business, and after his passing, Lil $o$o found healing in discovering her musical voice. The result was upbeat rhythms intended to make people dance, smile, and feel free. It was the only way she knew how to make things better.

After laying the groundwork with promo singles “Better Life,” “Go Ooh,” “Bad Attitude,” and “Woo Tang,” the rising rapstress made her official debut Summer of 2022 with ‘$o$o World.’ Executive produced by mentor and label head LunchMoney Lewis, the 14-track collection of records includes additional instrumentation from JulianBeatz, SFL Xavi, TheonlyDiet, Toju, BrianXWhite, Diem, and SoundsbyBreezy. Guest features come by way of Roc Nation recording artist Bobby Fishscale, XXXTentacion affiliate C Glizzy, Warner Records vocalist Savannah Cristina, and Nelle.
